Défi sportif AlterGo negotiates top quality all-inclusive hotel package agreements for its participants. These packages include a room for two, three meals a day, shuttle from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the competition venue.
It is possible to use the event transport service when lodging at one of the events official hotels for a fee.
The package includes breakfast and supper at the hotel and lunch at the competition venue. Meal vouchers are distributed at the hotel, at the Défi sportif AlterGo kiosk. During the event, athletes and volunteers can enjoy quality meals prepared by Compass Group. Healthy full meals are served on each competition venue.
For many years now, Défi sportif AlterGo athletes and volunteers have appreciated the CASA’S at each competition venue. You are welcome to use these friendly facilities, where music creates a relaxing and laid-back atmosphere. Snacks and drinks are provided. You will find lounges at some competition venues and hotels.
The professionals of Kinatex Sports Physio will be present at the competition venue to help athletes and volunteers. These therapists offer bandage services, first aid as well as tips on warm-ups and stretching.
Please note that Défi sportif AlterGo is not responsible for any medical fees.
Emergency technical aid repair services
During the Défi sportif AlterGo, the CIUSS du Centre-Sud-de-l’île-de-Montréal provides athletes with emergency repairs on technical aids (wheelchairs, orthotic devices and prosthesis), between 9 am and 9 pm for the whole duration of the event.
Please note that if your aid does not belong to the Régie de l’assurance-maladie du Québec (RAMQ), the Commission des normes, de l’équité, de la santé et de la sécurité du travail (CNESST) or the Société de l’assurance automobile du Québec (SAAQ), you will have to pay for the repairs on your technical aids.
