Transportation
It is possible to use the event transport accommodation for a fee.
Meals
During the event, athletes and volunteers can enjoy quality meals supplied by Groupe Compass. Healthy full meals are served at each competition site.
You can order lunch boxes that will be delivered at your competition site. You must complete the lunch box form and e-mail it to 47421@compass-canada.com. You will then receive confirmation from Groupe Compass. To ensure smooth operations of this service, we ask that you place your order before April 13, 2018.
Sports Lounge
For many years now, Défi sportif athletes and volunteers have recognized the success of sports lounges. You are welcome to use these friendly facilities, where music creates a relaxing and laid-back atmosphere. Snacks and drinks are provided. You will find lounges at some competition sites and hotels.
First Aid
The professionals of Kinatex Sports Physio will be present on competition sites to help athletes and volunteers. These therapists offer bandage services, first aid as well as tips on warm-ups and stretching.
Please note that Défi sportif AlterGo is not responsible for any medical fees.
Emergency technical aid repair services
During the Défi sportif AlterGo, the CIUSS du Centre-Sud-de-l’île-de-Montréal provides athletes with emergency repairs on technical aids (wheelchairs, orthotic devices and prosthesis), between 9 am and 9 pm for the whole duration of the event.
Please note that if your aid does not belong to the Régie de l’assurance-maladie du Québec (RAMQ), the Commission des normes, de l’équité, de la santé et de la sécurité du travail (CNESST) or the Société de l’assurance automobile du Québec (SAAQ), you will have to pay for the repairs on your technical aids.
